It’s always something special when someone you’ve photographed before asks you to create their senior portraits. Tristen has modeled for our group several times, and I was thrilled when she reached out for her own session.
We started around the main school building for a classic backdrop that captured her connection to Needville High School. From there, we moved to the football field—where the light, the space, and her confidence all came together perfectly.
For her final outfit, she brought her prom dress, with one condition: no posting until after the big night. When she stepped onto the field in that stunning gown, I knew exactly how I wanted to photograph it. I switched to a wide-angle lens to give her the full stage—the field stretching wide beneath her as if she owned every inch of it. Because that day, she truly did.
